New 'Scope

Got my telescope set up today. Hurrah! It was easy to put together and seems to be a great beginner telescope. I can't wait to try it out.

As I write this, seeing conditions are not good. Cloudy with a 30% chance of precipitation so no testing the telescope tonight.

It's good to be back and I promise to update more often.

Toodles!

That is a real nice looking scope that you have and the tripod looks very strong.Perhaps Mother nature will be kind and give you clear skies soon?!.With everyone getting new scopes and other astronomy toys for Christmas,it is a safe bet that we will have cloudy skies for the next month :) .When I first got my scope,we received a years worth of rain in 2 days and was cloudy for over a month.I am saying this because,I am hoping mother nature will try to prove me wrong and give you the clearest skies that you have seen in a long time!!!!.

Thanks Andrew. It is a nice little scope and I hope it performs well.

So far, the weather is not co-operating but it's bound to clear up eventually.
