After being away from astronomy for almost ten years it's time I try to get back into the swing of things. I've dusted off my books, magazines, binoculars and, hopefully soon, my telescope.

About This Blog
Astronomy is my hobby, not my life. This blog is about various astronomy books, magazines and websites that are interesting to me. It is a place for me to post articles and images I find on the web that I’d like to remember. It is about me going outside now and then with my 10×50 binoculars and looking up at the stars and documenting what I see. I keep this blog to entertain myself only. I'm not an astro-photographer. The only telescope I own is a very cheap one that is limited to viewing the craters on the moon and the Jovian satellites. So, if you’re interested, I can point you to some awesome astronomy photos on the web taken by both professional and amateurs. Or I can recommend a few magazines, books, software and websites to you.
