What a gorgeous sight! Went outside around 21:40 to set up my little telescope and already La Luna was changing colour. The sky was crystal clear with minimal turbulence. I kept the scope on the moon and when not looking at the eclipse I admired the Pleiades, Taurus and Orion. The view was good in my 10x50 bins as well.I hope everyone else had as good a view and I can't wait to read about what other bloggers have to say about Lunar Eclipse 2007.

I too am glad that you were able to see the show.We had foggy skies here and I was only able to see the last few mintues of the shadow.Oh well,round 2 is coming up in August.

The eclipse was beautiful and I was so thankful the skies were crystal clear. I'm glad you were able to view a bit of it.
I had snow. But one of the guys at the astronomy club got pictures through a sucker hole. Lucky SOB. Well, industrious too.
I picked up electric socks at the sporting goods store as my latest astronomical instrument.
